I’m Peter Barton, the author of these pages. I’ve been interested in family history for many years. I got that from my mother, Edna.
I’ve been actively researching the Brown family from Gloucestershire for a while now. This family contains my mother’s newly found father. The research and advances in DNA testing have opened up a whole new world of family history, relatives and much more.
I live in Lincoln, England though I was born and grew up in Birmingham. I have a patchwork quilt of experiences ranging from being a construction engineer and surveyor to managing the web presence for a large local authority, and lots more in between.
I’ve been taking pictures since I was eight years old, back in 1955. Apart from family history and travel, that’s pretty much what I do with myself in my retirement.
